Happy Thanksgiving!I know some of you are getting ready for Thanksgiving (as are we). Our oldest daughter is coming home from college for a few days of home-cooked meals and then heads back to play in the NCSU Band for the UNC vs NCSU game on Saturday. So it's a whirlwind of activities here. We managed to get a lot of the Fall home maintenance done around the house as we settle into "winter" here in North Carolina. It doesn't get that cold here but there are a few things that need to get done like winterizing the pool, winterizing all the lawn equipment, and more. I did a whole podcast on Fall home maintenance tips this week and shared a funny (not funny to me at the time) story. Be sure to tune in here to hear it. Otherwise, I wanted to share my centerpiece ideas that I recorded a few years ago that are still useful today to decorate your dining table. I show how you can go from Thanksgiving to Christmas using things you probably have around your home anyway. You can watch that video below!

And that’s when we get into trouble with losing things that you didn’t realize are still in there. This past week I worked on cleaning out my pantry and I want to give you some tips and tricks I used during this pantry cleanout and challenge you to a Pantry Cleanout...

And for homeowners, there are things that you can stop doing when it comes time to sell your home. Now I wanted to tell you to stop doing this one thing...but I can’t stop with just one…so I will share at least two things to stop doing. 1. Stop leaving family photos up or nude pictures. They do two things to your home that you don’t want people...
Enjoy the holidays Is this going to be the last Christmas in your home? Are you selling it next year? Home selling can be stressful, but you don’t have to do it alone. When your house is staged and looks move-in ready, buyers will flock to your open house to make an offer so you can move into your next house. Let me share how we can work together to make this process easy for you. I want you to enjoy this time of year in your home before you put it on the market. Next year, I will have a...
